Although support for this plugin has stopped, it is still a very solid plugin that works very smoothly. It uses the Fisheye component and is pretty straight forward to setup.

jqDock is pretty advanced – Lots of configuration settings you can customize and also provides some excellent examples with the CSS and Javascript for each.

This plugin will partially work even without Javascript enabled. Of course, zooming in and out won’t work but at least the icon will still appear larger on rollover, thanks to CSS. Unfortunately, it works on less browsers than the others and the site offers less documentation.
